I would take long
deep belly breaths
if I lived in a
place of fresh air,
but as I walk through
parking
garages and on paved
streets with
car fumes sucked
up into my nostrils,
taking long deep
belly breaths
seems more deadly
than healthy.
What kind of society
would
foster short shallow
breaths over
the long meditative
breathes of a yogi? |
