Cindy
Sheehan has proven herself
to be a truth teller
and a courageous spokesperson
for peace. But it is
time we all realizes
what the truth reveals.
As George Orwell said,
“In times of universal
deceit, telling the
truth will be a revolutionary
act.” Times have
evolved since Orwell
wrote those words. Now
a new word is needed
to express the times
we are living in. Lovolution,
the evolution of revolution,
a non-violent world-wide
shift in consciousness,
for me, expresses the
actions taken at Camp
Casey.
Perhaps
Sheehan already sees
herself as a lovolutionary.
After all, she says
she will not pay her
federal taxes the year
her son died. She wants
the IRS to come after
her, imprison her for
not paying her taxes
because she wants a
trial. She wants to
put this illegal, immoral
war on trial. Certainly,
this is an act of lovolution.
Standing up to the Commander-in-Chief
by calling him a “lying
bastard” since
he lied to the world
about the weapons of
mass destruction in
Iraq which has wasted
billions of dollars
and destroyed thousands
of lives is a lovolutionary
act. Saying that Bush’s
policies murdered her
son and all the other
people who have died
in Iraq since the war
began is another act
of lovolution. Calling
for Bush’s impeachment
and then for him to
be put in prison for
being a war criminal
is an act of lovolution.
Cindy and her supporters
know love and justice
are branches of the
tree of life.
Sheehan writes, “It's
up to us, the people,
to break immoral laws,
and resist. As soon
as the leaders of a
country lie to you,
they have no authority
over you. These maniacs
have no authority over
us. And they might be
able to put our bodies
in prison, but they
can't put our spirits
in prison.” These
are not words of a woman
who wants to cooperate
with President Bush,
but a woman who wants
to overthrow President
Bush and the entire
war machine.
If she wants justice
and honor for her son’s
death by bringing about
an ever-evolving peace
and love, then she needs
to be the one who becomes
the subject of herstory,
an act of lovolution.
To be successful is
to right the wrongs
of history, 5,000 or
more years of patriotism
and patriarchy that
has lead us to the verge
of total war by nuclear
annihilation . Lovolution
is a movement to disarm
every nuclear weapon
on Earth. These weapons
whether they are in
the hands of nation-states
or rogue individuals
are weapons of global
terrorists. Now Cindy
asks us to speak out
to change our hellish
reality.
In her meeting with
Bush she wants him to
admit to her that her
son didn’t die
for “freedom and
democracy” in
Iraq. She said, “You
tell me that my son
died for oil. You tell
me that my son died
to make your friends
rich. You tell me my
son died to spread the
cancer of Pax Americana,
imperialism in the Middle
East.” The mission
of lovolution changes
the way we live life
by allowing freedom
and democracy into our
daily lives. It gives
voice to the oppressed
and constructs a new
world based on a new
set of values that honors
life on Earth. It tells
a new story of our purpose
in the universe giving
rise to the history
of Mother Universe.
Moving people to a world
without war changes
the very structure of
our lifestyle. To move
away from oil dependency
and the filthy, corrupt,
war culture it has manifested
means redesigning our
cities and building
new ecological, pedestrian
centered cities—arcologies—that
use renewable energies,
a place where the wisdom
of women’s voices
and visions are restored.
Reconstructing a world
of personal freedom,
collective responsibility,
ecological integrity,
and social justice is
the final mission of
lovolution.
But for lovolution to
blossom requires us
to be an epic love heras
and heroes. Cindy Sheehan,
Mother Universe is calling
you! Sheehan’s
love for her son, to
clear her son’s
name being associated
with an illegal and
ugly war has lead to
this anti-war uprising
in Crawford, Texas.
What could model lovolution
more clearly? Without
love, there can be no
peace. Camp Casey would
have never been built,
and the peace movement
would have not had a
voice during this long,
hot summer when more
soldiers and Iraqis
have died.
Futurist Barbara Marx
Hubbard writes in her
Conscious
Evolution workshop
that, “A small
group of people throughout
the world holding a
new view of the nature
of reality and acting
upon it can possibly
cause the whole system
to jump to a higher
order.” My feeling
is that Camp Casey and
the vigils to stop the
war that happened throughout
the United States last
week are holding the
light of a new view
of reality. The political
polls are shifting away
from supporting President
Bush. Many of us know
that as oil
prices peak, the
entire American system
could collapse and Bush
doesn’t have any
positive ways to stop
the impending chaos.
In times of crisis,
leadership arises to
usher in a new era.
Thank the Goddess this
epoch will be opposite
of the torments of the
past! It is an era where
a better world is possible.
So the lovolution must
keep moving and growing
like it has never developed
before. The responsibility
of each of us is to
let go of the past and
to place ourselves in
this new story about
a whole-systems shift
into conscious evolution.
Our candles are lit
as we step into the
unknown world of love
and peace as the core
values of our planetary
system, Gaia.
Even though I am not
at Camp Casey, my heart
and soul are with them
every moment of my day
and in my dreams at
night. Every breath
that I breathe is a
prayer that the American
public will awaken by
witnessing this great
wave of dissent. The
grieving mothers are
grieving from a civilization
of war and conquest
built upon the genocide
of Native Americas which
continues to cause brutality
and suffering throughout
the world. My creative
energy is with you.
The strings of my heart
surround you. My mind
touches each one of
you who were part of
the vigil last Wednesday
night. From these strings
a morphic field is being
created by focusing
on the peace encampment
in the green fields
of south Texas.
Morphic
field is a non-material
field that guides the
physical formation of
the growing lovolution.
When a morphic field
is established, it becomes
easier for others to
join into the energy
field and become part
of the critical mass
needed for total transformation.
The masses begin to
resonant with the new
reality. Suddenly, the
consciousness of our
species wakes up in
time to save us and
the other endangered
species on this planet
from extinction. Our
problems seem solvable
since we now have the
unitive power to move
us away from weaponry
by putting our good
intentions into constructing
ecocites. Our tears
swing from profound
grief to ecstatic joy
that we have reconnected
with the Cosmos. Never
again do young men and
women have to sacrifice
their lives to one’s
country but are taught
from birth that to dedicate
one’s precious
life to the betterment
of humankind is the
highest and most noble
calling of lovolution.
